LunarMile to record with legendary producer Chris Tsangarides
The band are to work with Chris Tsangarides this summer. The legendary producer has taken in credits for artists such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore and Bruce Dickinson to name but a few.


Total Guitar Gig and Magazine Apperance
LunarMile are to support friends Breed 77 at the Forum in Bath on August 4th. The Total Guitar gig will be part of the International Guitar Festival, which takes place in Bath every summer. The band also make their first apperance in Total Guitar Magazine this july (out now) marking the occasion.

More on LunarMile at Guitar Hero II Launch
LunarMile chatted to ‘One Life Left’ at Gibson in London at the launch of Guitar Hero II. One Life Left is a videogames radio show presented by Ste Curran and Robert Howells which goes out weekly on Resonance FM. They also produce a weekly podcast, the latest of which features LunarMile. LunarMile & Guitar Hero II at Gibson
LunarMile were in London last night for the launch of the new Sony Playstation/Red Octane game ‘Guitar Hero II’ at the Gibson Guitar Studios. The evening kicked off with brave members of the invite-only audience getting up on stage to perform tracks from the game, including ‘Killing In The Name’ by Rage Against the Machine, Guns N’ Roses ‘Sweet Child of Mine’, ‘Message In A Bottle’ by The Police and Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’. LunarMile closed the show with a set which included covers of ‘You Really Got Me’ (The Kinks/Van Halen) and Prince’s ‘When Doves Cry’, two new tracks – ‘Rock Bottom’ and ‘Bringing Me Down’ - as well as old favourites like ‘Same Old Thing’, ‘I Know’, ‘Stay’, ‘4AM’ and ‘Get Over Yourself’. New London Photos

LunarMile Rocking at Gibson in London
LunarMile were in London last night for an exclusive show at Gibson’s Guitar Studios, arranged by Gibson and Pro-Mark. The 8-track set featured ‘I Know’, ‘4Am’ and ‘Get Over Yourself’ from the band’s self-titled EP, as well as a cover of Prince’s ‘When Doves Cry’. In the audience were Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, Chris Wyse from The Cult & Owl, Cathedral’s Lee Dorrian, members of Electric Eel Shock, jazz guitarist Femi Temowo and Rick Parfitt Jnr alongside a host of other musicians, crew and media. The band were also filmed and interviewed by an MTV camera crew for a new TV series. LunarMile will be returning to London next Tuesday (26th September) for an acoustic show as part of the Unplugged Night series at the Hard Rock Café. Thanks to all at Gibson and Pro-Mark for a great night.

LunarMile Airplay in New Zealand
LunarMile are to get airplay on The Axe Attack show on The Rock FM in New Zealand, Sunday 19th June. The show is broadcast between 8pm and 11pm New Zealand time – 9am to midday UK time. Streamed live via www.therock.net.nz

LunarMile to be played on Bill Ward Radio Show
On Saturday 24th June 7pm-9pm UK time (11am-1pm Pacific time).

LunarMile are to release their debut EP, simply titled ‘LunarMile’, on Monday 12th June 2006.
The EP features the three tracks ‘4am’, ‘Get Over Yourself’ and ‘I Know’, all of which will also be available via iTunes. In addition, the CD format includes a bonus acoustic version of the track ‘Stay’. The EP will be available to order right here on the official LunarMile web site.

LunarMile perform live acoustic slot on BBC Radio WM
LunarMile guested on the Late Show with Jimmy Franks on BBC’s West Midlands Radio station on Tuesday 7th February 2006. They performed three songs acoustically including '4AM' and 'Get Over Yourself.' Full band versions of these tracks will soon be available for download. The show which goes out between 10pm and 1am on 95.6FM in the West Midlands, also featured LunarMile's current track 'I Know.'

New LunarMile track gets radio premiere on Planet Rock
LunarMile’s song ‘I Know’ had its first play on radio last Sunday on Tony Iommi’s ‘Black Sunday’ show on Planet Rock as his unsigned choice for this week. The show goes out between 7pm and 9pm UK time and is available to listen online worldwide at www.planetrock.com. Listeners in the UK can also tune in via DAB Digital Radio and via Sky Channel 861, NTL channel 680 or Telewest Channel 924. The ‘Unsigned Slot’ is usually between 8pm and 8.30pm (UK time)
